Retail marketing consultancy IdeaWorks has been named as one of the world’s most effective rebrand design companies at the sixth annual ReBrand 100 Global Awards, run out of New York.
ReBrand 100 is the highest recognition for brand rebuilding and redesign in the business arena, and is the only global, juried program of its kind.
IdeaWorks rebranding for Coates Hire, Price Attack and Backbone Youth Arts were winning entries.
IdeaWorks’ creative director and head of branding Glen Barry, who developed the new identities with design director Steven Arnold, said “the identities are great examples of leveraging the total brand experience with the brand identity at the core of all touchpoints. Developing a strong identity that can create a compelling brand experience is key to engaging and distinctive work. It’s fundamental to much of the retail reinvention work we are involved in.”
More than 40 industries and 21 countries are represented among the 2010 ReBrand winners. Other awarded companies include rebrand work for Nike Golf, Walmart and Delta Airlines. The jury panel comprised a multidisciplinary mix of prominent, international and industry experts.
