Catchoftheday.com.au will launch a new site dedicated to New Zealand shoppers.
Expected to go live on February 1, CatchOfTheDay (COTD) is known for its quirky and offbeat online product deals.
In Australia it has a following of more than 360,000 members.
Gabby Leibovich COTD operations manager, said the plan was to emulate the success of the Australian site in NZ.
"NZ is only 4 hours away and is practically another state of Australia," Leibovich said.
Each day at noon a new product is offered for sale for 24 hours at an extremely low price, unless sold out before.
Shoppers are not given advance notice about products coming up for sale, thereby encouraging potential customers to check the website daily to see the latest offer.
Items sold on the site range from manchester, electronic items, toys and home wares, to appliances, laptops and IT products. The site has also sold clothing, gadgets, cosmetics, camping, sports gear.
Leibovich said the majority of COTD custom came from word of mouth.
"The COTD crew of 35 have been working in the retail and online industries for decades and we are well connected as a result. We are consistently able to source close-out or clearance lines from a range of suppliers, thereby offering our customers a terrific selection of daily bargains," he said.
"We are extremely excited about our move to NZ. We believe that our deals will be even more successful in NZ because of our strong buying power and great range of brands, some of which are not always available to NZ residents."
