Witchery Holdings Group is expanding into Singapore, with both Mimco and Witchery Accessories opening boutiques at the Ion shopping centre in March.
Iain Nairn, Witchery Holdings CEO, said the venture would test the market appetite for the brands in both Singapore and Asia as a whole.
"We firmly believe that both Witchery and Mimco will build a strong following in the Ion centre, which houses some of the world's leading fashion brands," Nairn said.
Witchery Holdings tendered for the two boutique spaces in late 2009. The Ion centre opened in July 2009 and is home to international brands including Cartier, Dolce & Gabbana, Giorgio Armani and Louis Vuitton.
Gresham Private Equity acquired Witchery in August 2006 and has since grown store number from 85 to 150. It has also entered the New Zealand market, where it has 18 stores.
Mimco was acquired in August 2007, with store numbers doubling since the purchase. Additionally, there are six standalone Mimco boutiques and 17 House of Fraser department store concessions in the UK.
Both brands will seek to build a substantial presence in the local Singaporean market, however, no other store openings have been confirmed.
