CB Richard Ellis has promoted Alistair Palmer to lead its Australian bulky goods team.
In his new role as director bulky goods Australia, Palmer will drive’s CBRE’s focus on the sector, reporting to regional director of retail, Joshua Loudoun.
Palmer joined CBRE five years ago and for the past two years has been charged with running CBRE's NSW retail business, based in the Sydney office. In this role he has been involved in a range of high profile projects, including leasing Home HQ on Sydney’s lower north shore.
“Bulky goods is continuing to evolve, with 134 operating bulky goods centres around the country and over 645,000sqm of new centres under development,” Loudoun said.
“CBRE is the market leader in this sector and we look forward to continuing to strengthen our national platform under Alistair’s leadership.”
In other moves, CBRE’s Damien Crocetti will relocate from Sydney to Brisbane to lead the Queensland bulky goods team.
