SPOS has launched spin off company iCandy Creative to supplement its exisiting point of sale offerings.
CEO David Evans said SPOS decided to launch the new creative company to answer a need in the marketplace and help brands get noticed in stores.
“SPOS has housed a creative department for about three years, but there was a need in the marketplace for a much more comprehensive offer to custom design displays for brands,” Evans said.
The iCandy team consists of 14 staff and offers concept, graphic and industrial designs, print production, project management and full production services both locally and overseas.
Stephen De Lorenzo, iCandy Creative director, said the name iCandy was chosen to represent the company’s objective to create visually attractive custom design displays for retail brands.
“The name reflects the fact that brands need to showcase their products in the best possible light and consumers are looking for a pleasant shopping experience,” De Lorenzo said.
