The Danks Group has won three out of four Store of the Year awards at the Hardware Association of Victoria Awards. 

Held annually in Melbourne, the awards recognise stores and individuals excelling across the Victorian hardware sector.

Winners of Danks three awards were Saville Plumbing & Hardware Supplies (Euroa) of the Thrifty-Link group for small store of the year under 500sqm; The Hardware Shop (Richmond) of the Home group for medium store (500 to 1000sqm); and Permewans Home Timber & Hardware (Yarrawonga, large store of the year (1000 to 2000sqm).

Stores were judged on customer service, innovation, employer of choice and business strategy.

Danks Victorian and Tasmanian state manager Peter Richards said it was a great achievement for the Home Timber and Hardware and the Thrifty-Link Hardware stores.

“At Danks, we pride ourselves in our members providing a unique buying experience for customers, contributing to the continued evolution of the hardware retail industry,” Richards said.
