Kogan, the online electronics retailer which has until now marketed only its own brand range has gone mainstream adding Apple, Toshiba and other brands to its offer.

While not revealing where the products are coming from, Kogan says in a statement that the new products will be back by "local support and warranty".

Kogan has added MacBook Air computers, HP & Toshiba Laptops, high-end headphones and the iPhone 4S to its offer.

In a statement the company said products would be priced at "up to 46 per cent off" but examples of prices were generally less discounted than that.

An unlocked Apple iPhone 4S 16GB, for example, sells for $739 on Kogan's website, $60 less than RRP.

A Toshiba 14" Satellite L740 Laptop (with Intel Core i3 processor) sells for $569, compared with RRP of $814.

Kogan says it is selling "more of the world’s most popular consumer electronics brands and products at the world’s best prices by going higher up the supply chain".

Ruslan Kogan, founder and CEO, said the company is on track to grow by over 500 per cent and record $100 million revenue this financial year, "allowing us to source the the most popular technology at unbeatable prices".

“The Kogan business has been growing at an extraordinary rate. We saw a 408 per cent increase in the last quarter of 2011 from the last quarter of 2010. We’re exploding in Australia and around the world.

“We’ve had great feedback and support globally and our rapid growth means we can continue expanding our range to offer more electronics and appliances to smart shoppers," said Kogan.

“We only source the products we know our customers want, and will continue doing this throughout 2012. The new products joining our range are exactly what Australian online shoppers have been asking for,” Kogan said.
