Melbourne Central has created ‘Destressmas Pop Up’ - a unique pop-up on the second floor to help tired Christmas shoppers recuperate.
Management of GPT Group’s Melbourne Central describe the pop-up as a one-stop location to escape for a small amount of time. Visitors will receive invigorating facial spritzes, energising fresh apples and beverages, Crabtree and Evelyn hand massages, and Kikki. K ‘to do’ lists.
“There is nothing worse than that anxious feeling that you've left your Christmas shopping too late. That is, until you realise you don't even know where to begin for Christmas gift ideas,” explained Justin Shannon, centre manager.

Set in an oversized glass cube the space will act as a hub for shoppers to browse and be inspired to find the ideal gift.
An interactive helpful gift guide will be provided on iPads and live access to Melbourne Central’s Facebook will keep shoppers up to date with to the minute retail offers.

In a nearby location, Make a Wish foundation volunteers will be in the Dining Hall wrapping gifts for a gold coin donation.
“We hope to make Christmas as relaxing as possible here at Melbourne Central and feel it is important to offer shoppers a helping hand when selecting gifts for friends, families and even themselves,” said Shannon.
“A one-stop location for all that’s needed in terms of recuperation, to-do lists, and browsing from the comfort of a peaceful, relaxing zone, is just what shoppers need this Christmas.”
