Jack Spade, the menswear complement to Kate Spade, has spread its wings internationally.
The brand opened its first global store in Shibuya, Tokyo, close to Beams shop on Thursday. The newest Jack Spade store follows new shops which opened in Boston in August and Georgetown in September.
The Tokyo store will trade from 11am to 8pm and features all Jack Spade products including the collaboration with Coca Cola which includes cola bag, tote bag, posters, T-shirts, iPhone case, baseball cap, and more.
“Our strategy for growth in building a global men’s lifestyle brand includes expanding the product category offering, building consumer awareness through both marketing efforts and expanded distribution and executing a brand-appropriate retail expansion, both domestically and in key international markets,” said Craig Leavitt, co-president and COO of the Kate Spade division of Liz Claiborne Inc.
Jack Spade was founded by Andy Spade. The brand is known for its functional, stylish and well-made products.
