| Abercrombie & Fitch hits Madrid |

American casual fashion retailer Abercrombie & Fitch will open its new flagship store in Madrid, Spain, today.
The 14,000sqft flagship is located at No.5 Plaza del Marques Salamanca alongside luxury brands like Louis Vuitton, Dior, Jimmy Choo and Dolce & Gabbana.
Housed in a remodelled heritage building, it reflects the brand's desire to be set in "a stately building representative in a strategic area of the city" despite the youthful, forward fashion of its product range.
The Madrid flagship features luxurious casual men's and women's collections such as jeans, underwear, T-shirts, sweaters, hoods, body scents, flip flops, skirts, accessories and many more.
Abercrombie & Fitch has started featuring its emblem: the Abercrombie 101 hot models. Shirtless male models parade in front of the store to draw public attention to the store.
The impact the models have in promoting the store prior to today's opening can be viewed here.
The Madrid flagship is the seventh company-owned store outside US and Canada. A flagship is planned for Sydney at some point in the future.
