Harvey Norman has been named Telstra's 2008 national dealer of the year.

 
Telstra consumer executive director of retail channels, Andy Ellis, said Harvey Norman stood out for its sales performance, customer service and experience, innovation and business execution.

"Harvey Norman has led the way over the last 12 months with a business performance that clearly earned strong customer loyalty, and big increases in mobile phone and data sales," he added.
